Welcome to the website of LUXEMBOURG BUSINESS REGISTERS.

LUXEMBOURG BUSINESS REGISTERS (LBR) is an economic interest grouping established by the State, the Chamber of Commerce (Chambre de Commerce) and the Chamber of Crafts (Chambre des Métiers) of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It's mission is to manage and to develop the different registers it may be entrusted with by law, under the authority of the Minister of Justice.

Since 23 January 2003, LBR ensures the management of the Trade and Companies Register.

Since 1 June 2016, LBR is in charge of the electronic central platform of official publications concerning companies and associations, the "Recueil électronique des sociétés et associations" (RESA).

The law of 13th of January 2019 entrusted the LBR with the management of the Register of Beneficial Owners.

  • 06/08/2025Update of national identification numbers – Requirements applicable as of 01 October 2025

    We remind you that all entities registered with the RCS are required to update the national identification numbers of natural persons listed in their files.

    As of 1 October 2025, and in the absence of regularisation, LBR reserves the right to block access to filing services for non-compliant entities. This restriction will remain in force until the entity’s situation has been regularised.

  • 29/07/2025Public Notice – Launch of the new LBR website

    LBR would like to inform you that its new website will go live on 25 August 2025.

    The new website will centralise procedures related to the RCS, RBE, REGINSOL and RESA, around four main categories of procedures: Registration, File, Consult and Order. New features, such as guided assistance to facilitate the completion of formalities and a support form, will also be available.

    With the launch of the new LBR website, a CAPTCHA verification system (anti-robot verification test) will be implemented to protect the website against abusive automated connections. The sole purpose of this system is to ensure the security of the website and prevent fraudulent use.

  • 15/05/2025Assistance for ASBL - Provision of documentation templates for ASBL

    Under the amended law of 7 August 2023 on non-profit associations (ASBL), several template documents (including a template relating to the articles of association for the constitution of a new ASBL) are available to assist associations with their administrative procedures.

  • 27/02/2025Update of Luxembourg addresses

    LBR would like to remind you that there is no specific legal deadline for correcting registered Luxembourg addresses so that they comply with the Register of Towns and Streets, and this can be carried out simultaneously as a mandatory filing with the RCS (e.g. at the time of registration of the renewal of the mandates of directors/managers).
